My pieces are made from mostly sterling silver, a little 14K goldfill, and brass. Each piece is intentionally polished to showcase stamping, give depth around a stone, and have a clean finish!
To keep your jewelry from tarnishing, keep it in a dry place. Keep it away from chemicals, saltwater, and hot springs that have sulphur! I have found that jewelry I wear daily does not tarnish, and when it sits for long periods it tends to tarnish faster.
There are many methods for cleaning your jewelry. I prefer to use polishing cloths, a little scrubber like an old toothbrush, and soap & water. Be careful when cleaning oxidized jewelry as you may take off some of the black sheen if you clean it too hard.
